Whanau Afternoon

Today we had Whanau afternoon.

We all went to our Whanau group and did an activity to celebrate Maori Langauge Week.

The children from Otumatua did a great job organising the activities. Some groups did a scavenger hunt, some did a visual mihi, some learn about the Maori gods.

Kia ora te reo Maori.

Long live the language.

Curriculum Areas:
  • Te Reo Maori

ACTIVE:
Communicator: (use Te Reo)
Interactor: (listen to others, learn from others, work with different people)
Versatile Player: (be involved in a community, try new things)
