About Us

We are 70 year 1 and 2 children from Halswell School in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Our studio is in the Huritini (Who – rree – tee – knee) Learning Centre.

Huritini is the original name of parts of the Halswell River. It means "many turns".

The Huritini Learning Centre is in two parts:

Whio (blue duck)

Ti  Kouka (cabbage tree)

We are in the Whio studio but sometimes we work in the Ti Kouka studio.

The teachers in our Learning Centre are:
Whio

T10 Miss Norman and Mrs Hooper
T11 Miss Dixon
T12 Mrs Pettersson

Ti Kouka

T13 Mrs Pareanga
T14 Mrs O'Callaghan and Mrs O'Neill
T15 Mrs Townsend
