How long is a Diplodocus?

Today in maths Mrs Pettersson read us a story about a Diplodocus.

It said in the book that a Diplodocus is 27 metres long. We wanted to find out how long that it is.

We went outside and worked in group to guess how long the Diplodocus would be. Then we used a metre ruler to help measure 27 metres.

We learnt that a Diplodocus is nearly as long as a netball court. WOW!!!
